The 2025 “Ugliest House of the Year” isn’t so ugly anymore. What was once a 1954-built Boise home, packed with trash and deemed “uninhabitable,” has been completely transformed by husband-and-wife team Paul and Tanice Myers.

Over six weeks, the Myers tackled everything from a damaged kitchen and peeling paint to rotting wood and safety hazards. Their renovation included a new roof, updated HVAC, modernized interiors, and a backyard makeover, turning the distressed property into a market-ready gem.

Beyond the aesthetics, their work restored pride and dignity to the neighborhood, supporting families and local businesses along the way.
